Hi followers! It’s been a long few months since the big move in November. The move was an overwhelming challenge, but for this artist, the experience was long overdue. I am now located in Edmond, Oklahoma! Let me tell you it was a huge milestone to simply packing up years of accumulated supplies, the process brings a set of hurdles that go beyond the typical stress of moving.

For this artist, it’s not just about changing addresses; it’s about reestablishing creative space, preserving precious materials, and maintaining a sense of inspiration in an unfamiliar environment. There was a ton overwhelming moments of frustration as well as moments of revelation and pure bliss in the simplest way.

In a new city, I plan to make several personal bucket list challenges for myself that I was unable to do before. Living in the small quaint town of Alpine, Texas has its beauty in landscape and friendly locals. However, it also has its downsides like jobs with low pay and almost no benefits or opportunities to grow, no fresh produce, and an ever growing civil conflict between the city members and locals.

With this new move, I’ve been able to experience the things I so desperately needed like urgency care, fresh produce, and a variety of self care opportunities.

Follow me on my new journey as I upgrade my studio space, share experiences and adventures visiting restaurants, galleries, and popular areas, as well as fun stories and discoveries.
